History of the BAUR logo

A logo conveys identity, it invites new customers to get to know the company, differentiates the company from competitors, and promotes brand loyalty. Josef Baur also understood this when he asked his wife Maria to design a logo for the company. She had always enjoyed drawing and had a real flair for it.

 

Maria used the shape of the housing of one of the company's first measuring devices as inspiration for the BAUR logo, which remained almost unchanged for many years. The brand claim "Ensuring the Flow" has accompanied the logo for several years. The leaf was also introduced as a key image that conveys the claim visually and emotionally. In 2015, the BAUR logo was updated to mark the company's 70th anniversary and this design continues to be used worldwide.
